Our products are natural extracts for cosmetic skincare products derived from olive pomace and contain well-known anti-oxidants such as tyrosol, hydroxytyrosol and oleuropein, vitamin E and squalene. The extracts can be customised to suit customer needs.
Product Applications
Our water-soluble extracts contain polyphenolic antioxidants and provide anti-aging properties, photo-protection and hair colour protection. Their anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial activity can provide skincare products with non-irritating, skin purifying properties. Our oil-soluble extracts contain vitamin E and squalene which provide skin moisturisation properties and can be added to the oil phase of cosmetic emulsions or to tissue oil mixtures. Our freeze-dried olive pomace powder can be used as a natural skin exfoliant. in face masks, body scrubs and foot scrubs.
Our Products
Over 98% of the water-soluble polyphenols in olives are found in the waste pomace. The residual oil in the pomace contains squalene and vitamin E. We extract these bioactive antioxidants from the pomace using a gentle extraction technique to preserve their efficacy, and prepare both water-soluble and oil-soluble antioxidant-rich extracts for the cosmetic skincare industry. We thus provide skincare product manufacturers with an effective antioxidant additive at relatively low cost. We also provide olive pomace in a freeze-dried powder form in various particle size ranges.
